Almost twenty teaching establishments offer more than 50 training courses. Two sites group together more than 1000 University of West Brittany (UBO) students : Creac’h Gwen and University Technology Institute (IUT).
This centre groups together the diverse components of the West Brittany University (UBO). The pooling of common resources allows optimum functioning, facilitates collaborations and synergies and encourages, via the grouping together of 1000 students on one campus, the formation of a real university life.
Located in the on-campus Student’s Centre is a reception, a branch of CROUS (student restaurant), handicapped persons’ office, orientation, professional guidance, health, community groups as well as a multi-purpose room and a sports room.
Established for 40 years in Quimper and in close relation with the regional and local economy, the site numbers 1400 students in numerous subjects and specialisations, particularly food industry-related.
The completely renovated restaurant and the university housing estates are nearby.
Lively student life relies on the support of numerous associations. More than 40 sporting activities are organised annually.
