Picasso, the eternal feminine : summer’s exhibition in Quimper museum of Fine Arts

Through a collection of 70 prints produced between 1930 and 1970, and several works on loan from French museums, come and discover Picasso’s, eternal feminine exhibition, a first in France.

Like an intimate diary of his creation, engravings hold a privileged place in the work of the artist. They portray his favourite themes: eros, family, reference to grand masters, illustrations for poetic works…

Until 18th August 2014, Quimper museum of Fine Arts is opening up a new perspective on Pablo Picasso, the famous and celebrated genius who was perpetually reinventing himself and poursuing an endless quest: to capture the eternal feminine.
